I NEED SOME help from more experienced folk who could help me pick out a good tracked loader for my farm. i need to clear about 2-3 miles of overgrown fence rows, scrub areas, make a road and level out a barn building site. i know nothing about a loader but i have so much to do i figure it would pay for its self in the first year. i think I need a 4-1 bucket and teeth on it & R.O.P.S. I,D PREFER A MECHANICAL TYPE FUEL INJ. ENGINE AS THE ELECTRONIC ENGINES JUSt are dealer only repairable. I,ve a retired semi truck fleet owner and feel I can do most repairs on a machine but never owning any it sure would be a blessing to have some experienced insight. If you was to ask me which semi to by I,d know right off and how to spec it but this I need help on. I,am in east tennessee and I feel within a couple weeks of seat time I cold get the basic feel of operation. I just need a good machine. I dont want the small types but rather 70-90hp. all help is greatly appreciated ALOT...... Knowing what machine to look for and what to look for on it would be a tremendous help. I have several trucker buddies who could get it home for me as they have drop decks and I believe most machines are 20 to 25k in weight so that isnt a hauling issue.
thanks fellas
old man bob in tn.
